Sunset Japanese Maple is a remarkable specimen tolerating full sun but preferably in part shade. It will grow to 3 to 4 feet tall and the branches will turn and cascade down to give it a lovely weeping effect. The leaves are a yellow green colour in the spring with a lighter lime green, and as the summer comes on the leaf will get a tinge of red around the edges. In the autumn the red tinge grows inwards to make a stunning fire ball of red and orange, giving it the name Sunset.
