| Description | Casuarina glauca
Cousin It is so named because of its full, cascading growing habit, resembling "Cousin It" from the old television show, "The Adam's Family!". It is an extremely tough Australian Native groundcover which grows over anything in its way, and looks especially interesting planted over uneven areas, giving it a different look to anything else you ever could plant. It is drought hardy and can also tolerate light frost and semi-damp areas and is happy in full sun through to part shade.
It will only grow to 30cm but has a spread of approx. 1.5m and is useful for weed suppression. "Cousin It" would also look fabulous, planted in retaining walls, in pots and over rocks. An unusual and intriguing plant. | Pelargonium x hortorum
The ‘BIG’ series of Pelargoniums will bring bright impact to your garden! Large, doubled blooms present themselves atop mid-green, compact foliage, setting a neat, yet exciting scene for most of the year. Give your garden a cottage feel by using baskets to hang them from lattice, retaining walls, fences or pergolas. The thick, mid-green foliage keeps a semi-trailing habit which means they will cascade in hanging baskets, or stay low-growing in the garden.

| Content | Video: Casaurina 'Cousin It', an interesting low maintenance groundcover
Great for rockeries or spilling down embankments and over the side of pots, and will flow over rocks and hillocks creating spectacular effects. A very easy care plant that does well in a wide range of soil types, and from cold temperate to subtropical areas. The dense foliage will deter weed growth, adding to the low maintenance aspect. Can take some salt, so is good for coastal gardens. Tolerant of dry spells once established, frost tolerant. Heavy frost may brown the top foliage, but new growth will shoot away in spring. | | Rhaphiolepis delacouri x indica 'Apple Blossom' Indian Hawthorn
Indian Hawthorn Apple Blossom best performs in a full sun to part shade position. It thrives in clay, loam or sandy soil which makes it very easy to grow! It can handle moderate frost and salt spray (near coastal areas). Usual flowering times are between Spring and Winter. | |
