| Description | Leptospermum obovatum ‘Lemon Bun’ Tea Tree
A small dense mounding shrub with soft lemon-scented foliage with a profusion of lime-cream flowers that attract butterflies and provide food for insect-foraging small birds such as Scrub Wrens. It is perfect for low hedging, with minimal shaping required; may be planted beside pools and bog gardens; and can be clipped regularly to create a formal ball in a decorative container. Grows approx 1x1m | Banksia integrifolia
Banksia integrifolia or ‘Coastal Banksia’ is a hardy native found down the Eastern coastline of Australia. Often seen in windswept and sculptural shapes along beach fronts, when placed in a less hostile environment, they can become quite beautiful, bushy specimen plants. They grow anywhere between 4m - 10m and 1m - 5m wide, depending on their environment. During autumn and winter their yellow flowers form into large cones, rich with nectar. These stunning flowers attract lots of bird life, particularly cockatoos and honey-eaters. Coastal Banksia is a slow grower and can handle a wide range of soil types.
10" pot size. | Camellia japonica
Japonica varieties of Camellia are best suited to shady areas so that their foliage does not burn. They will be fine in morning sun, but not hot afternoon sun, and protect from high winds.
Odoratissima Camellia has dark green, glossy, evergreen leaves and from early winter to spring it will show gorgeous fluffy, fragrant blooms of red with yellow centres. Upright growth, perfect for screens and hedging, formal gardens, pot plants and more. Water and mulch well. It will reach 3-4m. | Philodendron "Xanadu"
Xanadu has beautiful, glossy foliage that gives a tropical feel to its surroundings. This variety is more profuse then most.
Xanadu is a slow growing evergreen that reaches heights of 2-3ft and a similar sized spread. Excellent for use in borders and garden beds.
12" pot size. | Pittosporum tenuifolium
Pittosporum Sunburst is a hardy, fast growing plant ideal for hedging and screening. It bears foliage that is glossy with rounded lime green leaves with striking yellow markings on them.
Pittosporum Sunburst prefers a position of full sun or partial shade and well drained soil. This plant is wind tolerant. Sunburst is great for hedging and grows well in coastal regions. | Betula pendula 'Dalecarlica'
The Cut-Leaf Birch is a very graceful tree with distinctive feathery foliage and fine white bark. It is slender and graceful enough to be a part of a small garden without appearing too dominant, and is also effective in larger areas planted alone or in groups. A moderate growing and medium sized tree, ideal for either a small garden setup or even a larger forest-like vista, this tree will grow well in most soils in a sunny to part shade position. A beautiful specimen tree not to be looked over!
10"/25cm pot size | Washingtonia robusta
Common names: Mexican Cotton Fan Palm, Mexican Fan Palm, Mexican washingtonia, Washingtonia palm.
The Mexican Cotton Fan Palm is a medium-tall sized palm originating from Mexico. It can reach a mature height of 7m in Victoria's climate. It has large fan like fronds with remnant threads of foliage that appear like ‘cotton’ hanging from between frond segments. It is tough, drought and frost tolerant when established! It is a perfect addition for features and tropical gardens.
