Description

Callistemon citrinus

Callistemon Crimson Bottlebrush is a dense, evergreen tree with rounded top. The blossom of crimson 'bottle brush' flowers are a bright vibrant red and appear from spring to late summer. Good for use under powerlines. Also they have a high wind and frost tolerance and a decent growth rate.

Euonymus japonicus 'Green Rocket'

Green Rocket is a beautiful dark green hedging plant that produces gorgeous glossy, oval shaped leaves with a mildly serrated edge • Used best as a box hedging plant or medium hedge • Suits the Green & White garden style as well as formal, modern and poolside. Tolerant of poor soils, frost, drought and coastal conditions

Dodonaea viscosa

Sticky Hop Bush is a large growing, evergreen shrub that produces green foliage and yellow to orange-red flowers. Great for screening, hedging, wind breaks and native gardens, attracting native wildlife. Prefers well drained soils and full sun. This species can tolerate dry conditions and can also handle some frosts. Little maintenance is necessary. However, regular tip pruning will promote growth and branching. Can reach 2-4m tall. 2"/5cm pot

Ulmus parvifolia

The bark of the Chinese Elm is a real stand out feature, as the tree sheds it in patches, creating the effect of a tapestry of varying browns and greys. Foliage is lush, shiny and green, and the tree is semi deciduous, turning golden in autumn, and keeping its leaves in warmer areas. It has also been noted by many Aussie gardeners in recent years that native birds enjoy the fruit of the Chinese Elm.
