Description

Ficus microcarpa hillii 'Koh'

A small leaved ficus variety, Koh or California Ficus is ideal for shaping with an upright narrow habit. It has a non-aggressive root system, giving it good longevity in a pot and making it the preferred ficus option for planting near water pipes and pools. An excellent tolerance to coastal conditions, drought and full sun positions. It can be kept as a small hedge, approximately 1 to 3 metres, without competing any close plantings.

See our Ficus Hedging & Screening Factsheet here for more about the different Ficus varieties!

Melissa officinalis 'Lime'

Lime Balm is a perennial herb that shares many characteristics with its cousins lemon balm and mint. It is as easy to grow with a distinct lime fragrance. When planted in the garden it enjoys a moist soil with dappled light. Like Mint, Lime Balm can grow quite quickly, spreading to its garden borders, so be sure to plant it in a contained garden bed or pot should this be an issue. Also like its cousins, Lime Balm will die down or back completely in the colder months, but rest assured it will return every year as lush and leafy as ever! Lime Balm can be used in many culinary dishes as well as dried for tea or pot pourri! And if none of these tickle your fancy, this plant is absolutely gorgeous along garden edges in Cottage, Potted or Culinary gardens, adding that gorgeous lime fragrance when you brush past. 4"/10cm pot size.

Rhaphiolepis indica 'Cosmic Pink™' Pink Flowering Indian Hawthorn

Cosmic Pink™ Rhaphiolepis is a super tough shrub that tolerates extreme weather conditions. This medium compact shrub with a mounding habit has larger pink flowers than the common form through spring and summer. Can be used in conjunction with Cosmic White™ Rhaphiolepis for height and flower colour contrast. It rarely ever produces seeds. Plant 2-4 plants per m². 50-80cm high x 50-80cm wide. 8'' pot size
