The Weeping Crabapple is a beautiful small tree that looks amazing all year round, with moderately weeping, fine branches. It features pink, red and white flowers in Spring followed by small deep red apples. The crabapples can be left on the tree into Winter for a decorative look.
These crabapples are grafted, meaning they have a tall straight trunk with a bushy head and will not get much taller than 8-9 feet. As they mature their leafy weeping head gets fuller and their trunks thicker.

It is said to keep pests insects away by obscuring the smell of the crop being protected by its "creme de menthe" aroma. Mice and rats are also said to dislike the aroma of this plant. This mint can be used in the kitchen the same as other mint varieties, and is the main flavour in the liqueur "creme de menthe". Weeping Silver Birch is a beautiful tree that is medium sized. Grows best in a position of full sun to partial shade. Silver Birch is great for larger gardens and parks etc. It's bark remains white at the base.
