| Description | Polygala myrtifolia x dalmaisiana
Polygala Dazzler is a shrub that originates from South Africa and has attractive, almost year round, purple pea-like flowers on light green foliage. It makes a great flowering hedge.
Polygala Dazzler prefers a well-drained position, but tolerates poor soils, frost and dry conditions. Pruning in early Spring will encourage bushiness and flowers. Best feed regularly with a slow release fertiliser.

Native to the Mediterranean, the bay tree is well known for its culinary use, often added to soups and stews. It is an upright, hardy evergreen tree with deep green, aromatic foliage. Leaves are glossy and oval in shape and hang from red-brown branches. In spring, yellow buds appear, opening to clusters of fluffy yellow flowers, adding a lovely contrast amongst the foliage. Tough, beautiful and useful, this tree lends itself well to hedging and is also an excellent choice for topiary. | Lavandula angustifolia
Traditionally English Lavender was grown for its heavenly fragrance, used in oils and potpourri.

| Content | | If your looking for a small hedging plant then this is the one for you. Dutch Box is a dwarf box that grows with dense, glossy green foliage and works well in shaded areas.
Dutch Box also likes part shade in moist, well-drained soil, but will tolerate a wide range of soils and conditions. It should be clipped to maintain a formal shape.
Slight yellow discolouration of the leaves on Dutch box may occur during cooler months, but don't worry, this is normal! This is remedied by applying with Dolomite Lime, and a slow release fertilizer a month later. Or you can just leave your Dutch Box alone and it will come back lovely and green and spring.

Can be made into a standard shape and its leaf is widely used as a culinary herb. It's a great tree that can be used in small or large gardens, responds well to pruning.
