| Description | Dionaea muscipulaThe Venus flytrap are carnivorous plants that catches and eats it's prey (Flies, spiders, mites and ticks) with a trapping structure formed by each of the plant's leaves, that is triggered by it's tiny hairs on their inner surfaces. It thrives in s live in moist, damp, sandy based soils near swamps. They somehow attract insects with their bright coloured leaves and sweet scent. They can be kept indoors in a sunny hot position, but keep their colour better outdoors in full sun. They do have a dormancy over winter and their leaves will turn purple/brown. They will rest until rapid increase in daylight increases, watering may be reduced but should not dry out. (Please note: we will not send these plants via postage service as they are extremely fragile.) 3"/7cm pot | ||
