Hidcote Lavender is a dwarf bush with aromatic silver-green leaves bearing slender spikes of dark purple-blue flowers during spring and summer. The flowers are darker in colour than Munstead lavendar, and Hidcote does not grow as tall.

Native to the Mediterranean, the bay tree is well known for its culinary use, often added to soups and stews. It is an upright, hardy evergreen tree with deep green, aromatic foliage. Leaves are glossy and oval in shape and hang from red-brown branches. In spring, yellow buds appear, opening to clusters of fluffy yellow flowers, adding a lovely contrast amongst the foliage. Dwarf Snow Gum is a hardy, compact growing, dwarf form of the snow gum capable of tolerating very cold conditions once established. It can have a single trunk or mulit-stemmed. Thick, leathery, blue-green foliage contrasts well with the red coloured stems and smooth white to grey coloured bark which peels off in ribbons. White flowers appear late in the year around mid Spring, attracting native birds. This native evergreen grows to approximately 5m in height. |
