| Description | Buxus dodinieri "Shaggy Box"Shaggy Box is so named due to its slightly drooping habit, which makes for an unusual box hedge. Native to China it is usually found on mountain slopes and forests and as a result, has a high frost tolerance. It will take 10 years to reach 1 metre in height, but definately worth the wait! Shaggy Box is ideal to hedge, can be used as an individual shrub and would look equally good in a pot. This is a slow growing plant that reaches approximately 1m in height. It performs best in part shade locations. Ideal for pots, topiary and even bonsai.
