Why buy 2ft Standard Iceberg Roses?
The Iceberg Rose looks great and has a ton of winning features among white roses, being practically thornless and disease resistant. But when it’s planted with it’s partner in crime the English Box, it looks even better. This classic duo combo works really well together as the white flowers pop from the lush dark green foliage of the English Box. 2ft Standard Iceberg roses are a great size for creating this combo, as the head of the rose plant sits up high and leaves room for the English Box hedging underneath.
Pictured here are 3ft Standard Iceberg roses to the left, and Iceberg Bush Roses to the right. A better option would have been a happy medium - the 2ft Standard Iceberg rose, not too short and not too tall
It’s also a very hardy combination with both plants thriving excellent in Melbourne's extreme 4 season days. You can see this combo in an abundance of individual plantings of the English Box and Iceberg Roses in many inner suburban gardens surrounding Melbourne.
