Description

Malus Domestica "Gala"

Gala apples are bright red, often with a green or orange blush or stripes. They feature crisp flesh and are one of the classic red apples enjoyed around the world. Remember that apple trees need to be planted near other apple trees so that they can pollinate each other and produce fruit. Ideal companions for Gala apple trees are Golden Delicious. This is because they all flower at a similar time. Dwarf apples like to be planted in the ground but they can be potted if cared for correctly. Dwarves also do not grow as large as standard fruit trees. 13"/33cm pot - Dwarf variety maturing to no more than 2m tall.
