Description

Ginkgo biloba

The Ginkgo or Maidenhair Tree is remarkably known as a 'living fossil', as it is the sole survivor of an ancient group of trees that date back to beyond the time of the dinosaurs. It is a perfect specimen or feature tree due to its long life and showy light green leaves which turn golden in Autumn. The leaves are an interesting ruffled shape.

The Maidenhair Tree remains virtually unchanged today and represents the only living bridge between 'higher' and 'lower' plants (between ferns and conifers). Maidenhair trees can be extremely long-lived, the oldest recorded individual being 3,500 years old.

Rosa floribunda 'Brilliant Pink' Iceberg rose

Pink Iceberg roses are just like their white counterpart, but in pink. They have all the characteristics of the world's favourite hardy and disease free rose, with added colour. Pink Icebergs bloom throughout the flowering season in big clusters. Available online ONLY - Not in store.

Acer palmatum

Mirte is an unusual maple with chocolate brown leaves with a lime green venation. Autumn colours change to a gorgeous bold bright yellow and orange. Needs well-drained soil, in a part-shaded location. 10''/25cm pot

Trachelospermum jasminoides

Chinese Star Jasmine Tricolour is relatively bushy and slow-growing, it bears shiny oval leaves which emerge pink, with age turn to green, then they change to a gorgeous bronze-red in winter.

Tricolour produces showy foliage and heavenly scented flowers. Best placed in a position of partial shade to full sun. Prefers well drained soil. Requires average watering, this plant is also drought tolerant.
