| Description | Sambucus nigraThe European Black Elderberry is a large, deciduous shrub producing white flowers and purple black berries (when ripe). The white flowers have a musky fragrance and appear in summer attracting butterflies and are followed with the black fruits. Berries are used for berries, jams, wines and cordials. (This variety is close enough but seperate from Sambucus canadensis - American Elderberry, both the best edible elderberry species and both the same health benefits) Only the flowers(raw) and berries(cooked) are edible on this tree, the rest is noted for being poisonus. 5"/12cm pot | Polygala myrtifolia x dalmaisianaPolygala Dazzler is a shrub that originates from South Africa and has attractive, almost year round, purple pea-like flowers on light green foliage. It makes a great flowering hedge. Polygala Dazzler prefers a well-drained position, but tolerates poor soils, frost and dry conditions. Pruning in early Spring will encourage bushiness and flowers. Best feed regularly with a slow release fertiliser. 10" pot size. | |||||||||||||
