Washington Navel Oranges are the most popular backyard orange grown in Australia, producing oranges that ripen mid Winter. The fruit is medium to large in size, very sweet and juicy, relatively easy to peel and are seedless. This type of orange tree is suited to colder climates. The foliage it has is light to dark green and is glossy. Grows best in full sun or partial shade. They're now available in a dwarf variety.
