Toffee Apple has large green and red balls of flower on display in summer, making for a stunning Christmas display. Macrophylla's perform best in a part shade position sheltered form the hot sun and wind with a rich, porous, moist soil.

A popular variety of Chinese Wisteria, Blue Pacific is a heavy flowering vine with slightly smaller flowers than that of the Wisteria floribunda.
• Long, fragrant mauve/purple/blue flowers covering bare vines in the early spring
