Avon produces large dark red crimson blooms of which hold their colour especially in hotter climates. The blooms are produced on long stems suitable for picking and floral arranging; they have a beautiful fragrance.
Avon is a tall upright growing rose that is best suited as a hedge or to the back of the garden. This variety is disease resistant.
