It is popular as a weeping standard or climber and the flower attains a tinge of pink in cooler climates. Available online ONLY or by preorder over the phone - Not stocked in store. 13" pot size, approximately 6ft in height.Loropetalum chinense Loropetalums (Chinese Fringe flower) are lovely low growing, sprawling shrubs that work well as a combination shrub and groundcover. Little China Ruby has burgundy foliage with bright magenta pink flowers in Spring and Summer. Use Loropetalums to underplant trees, cover beds or as an informal or border around stone walls or in pots. A good evergreen alternative to carpet roses. Needs some pruning to keep it under 1 meter tall. 6"/14cm pot

Loropetalum chinense

China Pink Loropetalums are evergreen low growing and spreading shrubs with unusual and ornamental reddish-purple foliage providing year round interest in the garden landscape. Additionally a striking display of candy pink, tassle-like flowers are produced in Spring with spot flowering occurring throughout the year. Use Loropetalum to underplant trees, or even clip them into purple hedges! A very versatile plant.
