| Description | Cotinus Coggygria, SmoketreePurple Smoke Bush is a gem in the garden thanks to it's unique blend of colours that change throughout the seasons. A large deciduous shrub or small tree, its beautiful eye-catching Spring foliage is green overlaid with purple. Summer brings deep purple foliage that then turns deep orange and bronze in a burst of glory for an Autumn show. Purple Smokebush gets its name from the clouds of smoke-like purple and pink "flowers" it produces in early Summer. These are very beautiful themselves, and are prized along with the foliage by florists. Grows best in full sun to partial shade and it is tolerant of drought and most soils, making it a great addition to many gardens. 10" pot size. | Allocasuarina torulosaThe Forest Sheoak is a hardy native Australian tree with a light brown bark with deep fissures. The leaves are thin green needles like a pine tree. A good garden specimen. Male Forest Sheoak trees have gold flowers in Autumn and the female have rounded warty cones. In Winter the branches turn a beautiful copper colour. Sheoaks are good for windbreaks and screening. 10"/25cm pot size. | Boronia megastigmaBrown Boronia is a small shrub that reaches heights of around a meter, and while it can be short lived, it is worth growing for the beautifully perfumed flowers in Spring. The best garden growing conditions are in dappled shade, in moist but well drained soils, and it loves a cool root run, which can be ensured with a good layer of mulch. 6" pot size. | Quercus roburEnglish Oaks are famous for being solid and strong. The trunk and secondary branches are very solid and are covered in thick blackish-grey bark which makes it quite a sight. The autumn foliage is a rich, dark brown.
