Description

Quercus rubra

This delightful tree is native to Northern America and therefore, also known as the "Northern Red Oak".  It is a medium to large tree, solid and reliable and has been a firm favourite throughout the centuries (it can live to around 500 years old!), proving it's adaptability to most conditions.

Red Oak will eventually produce acorns, but not until the tree is quite mature, around 40 years old. An attractive, compact, neat looking tree with mid green lobed foliage through Spring and Summer, turning with the cooler weather, to spectacular Autumn colours of rust, orange, tan, yellow and vibrant red.  Ideal for a larger garden and a great provider of shade.

Leucophyta brownii nana

Silver Nugget Leucophyta is just a dwarf version of the common Cushion Bush. Same foliage, same flowers, just growing to a mature height of 50cm x 50cm instead of 1m. The attractive silver foliage is highly tolerant to sea spray making it excellent for coastal locations, rockeries, and borders. 6"/14cm pot size.
Polyscias guilfoylei 'Montville' Common names include: Coffee Tree, Geranium-Leaf Aralia or Wild Coffee. A tropical plant originating from Asia that is commonly used as a houseplant.
