The pears are ideal for poaching and stewing or eating off the tree! Plant in a position with full sun and well drained soil. To pollinate we recommend using the 'William Bon' pear. | Malus purpureaThe Purple Crab Apple makes a handsome small tree, quite round topped in maturity. With beautiful flowers which are a deep, red-purple colour creating an effect that looks almost unbelievably rich.
