Description

Quercus robur

English Oaks are famous for being solid and strong. The trunk and secondary branches are very solid and are covered in thick blackish-grey bark which makes it quite a sight. The autumn foliage is a rich, dark brown. As the foliage is smaller than other deciduous trees, fallen leaves are not particularly difficult to eliminate and will not clog drains. 10"/25cm pot

Polygala myrtifolia x dalmaisiana

Polygala Dazzler is a shrub that originates from South Africa and has attractive, almost year round, purple pea-like flowers on light green foliage. It makes a great flowering hedge. Polygala Dazzler prefers a well-drained position, but tolerates poor soils, frost and dry conditions. Pruning in early Spring will encourage bushiness and flowers. Best feed regularly with a slow release fertiliser. 10" pot size.

Coleonema pulchellum aurea

Golden Diosma is one of the most popular garden shrubs. It has fine, small bright green-gold foliage which darkens in summer. Fragrant flowers and leaves release a beautiful scent when brushed past. 6''/14cm pot

Citrus australasica

Finger Limes are a native Australian citrus that has come into renown in recent years as a gourmet ingredient sought out by chefs around the world. They are called the caviar of the citrus family, as their fruit features individual tiny segments resembling caviar. Use these to garnish drinks, seafood and more. The trees themselves are fine leaved and prickly, and will grow to around 2 meters. Finger Limes are at home in Northern New South Wales, so growing them further South requires a warm, sunny spot. They can also be grown in large pots. Finger Limes should also be protected from strong winds, as the fruit's appearance can be damaged easily by rubbing on the branches and thorns of the tree. 12"/30cm pot
Liriodendron tulipifera fastigiata The Tulip Tree is a beautiful tall tree with large leaves that have a lovely shape and smooth soft texture. A fast growing deciduous hardwood tree. Tulip trees have striking yellow-green orange flecked coloured flowers. They are solitary flowers that sit in the extreme-most upper branches. The flowers resemble tulips, hence the name. This variety 'fastigiata' is a straight/upright/narrow growing tree making it perfect for smaller areas. 13"/33cm pot
