The foliage is deep green and narrow in summer and as autumn approaches, turns a rich claret colour, hence the name. An attractive, clump forming perennial with light green sword shaped leaves. Beautiful, white flowers with a yellow and violet center are produced on branched stems throughout spring and summer. Other common names include: Fortnight Lily, African Iris, Cape Iris.

specimen. Renegade is a hardy selection tolerating light to moderate frosts
and dry periods. It prefers a well drained soil and to be fertilised annually with
a long term slow release fertiliser.
