| Description | Escallonia IveyiEscallonia Iveyi is a quick growing, evergreen plant with fragrant white flowers in summer. Ideal for hedges, borders or screening. It is particulary hardy and will cope with coastal conditions as well as a hot, dry location, but does not cope with humidity. Frost hardy and drought tolerant once established. Skeeters Broom has a very vigorous upright habit. The small attractive foliage emerge bright red in Spring before turning dark red in Summer. This plant holds it's colour very well even in hot climates. Its Autumn colour is a bright scarlet and appears rather late compared to other varieties. Grows to a height of 6-8ft. | Acer palmatum 'Red Spire'Nishiki's Red Spire Japanese Maple is a smaller sized maple with narrow leaflets that are deep purple through the summer, and in autumn the foliage turns into a vibrant red.
