| Description | Lavandula angustifolia "Hidcote"
Hidcote Lavender is a dwarf bush with aromatic silver-green leaves bearing slender spikes of dark purple-blue flowers during spring and summer. The flowers are darker in colour than Munstead lavendar, and Hidcote does not grow as tall.

Uniquely Australian, hardy grass tree with rough dark textured trunk and central tuft of foliage. X. glauca has blue-green-grey leaves, and is native to the south east. X. glauca differs from X. johnsonii in having blue-grey leaves. Although grass trees are slow growing in dry conditions, they are certainly worth the wait. It has a growth rate of only 1-2cm per year but it can grow to over 6 metres tall. | Chaucer Rose
