Description

Celtis australis

Also known as the hackberry tree, celtis australis is a deciduous Tree growing to 20 m by 10 m at a medium rate. It has a smooth grey bark, and dark green narrow leaves. In autumn leaves turn yellow and begins to drop off. Celtis is drought tolerant and prefers weel-drained soil. 16''/40cm pot
Eucalyptus pauciflora  Commonly known as: Snow gum, Cabbage gum or White Sally. The Snow Gum is a white trunked beauty and is recognizable by its wonderful twisted growing habit, which originates from the tree's coping mechanism for loads of snow in its native Aussie alpine home. It produces white flowers in spring/summer.

Callistemon viminalis

Better John has been bred from popular small callistemon Little John, but with some changes. It is quicker to establish, easier to grow and its foliage colour is better. It has all this while still keeping Little John's excellent small height. Better John bears foliage that is blue-grey while new growth has silver tones due to its soft hairy texture. Its flowers bloom from mid to late Spring. Best placed in full sun or part shade position. Likes well drained soils. 6" pot size.

Escallonia laevis

Gold Ellen is an evergreen cultivar with variegated foliage ranging from golden yellow to green. From mid to late summer, it produces fragrant, fuchsia coloured flowers that are visited by bees. For best results, grow in full sun in well drained soil, away from frosts and dry winds. Mature growth: 2.5x2.5m 6"/14cm pot
