Bangalow Palms are native to Australia and are often used as indoor plants here down South. To grow into a very large tree they would probably require warmer climates than Melbourne, but as a small or medium size tree they look lovely anyway.
Use Bangalow Palms as a clumped indoor plant or in a sheltered spot outdoors to add a tropical feel to the garden.

Casuarina Cousin It is a dense ground cover with a cascading habit; aptly named after the very popular Adams family character- the foliage flows over anything! Great for rockeries or spilling down embankments and over the side of pots, and will flow over rocks and hillocks creating spectacular effects. A very easy care plant that does well in a wide range of soil types. The dense foliage will deter weed growth, adding to the low maintenance aspect.

Polygala Dazzler is a shrub that originates from South Africa and has attractive, almost year round, purple pea-like flowers on light green foliage. It makes a great flowering hedge.
Polygala Dazzler prefers a well-drained position, but tolerates poor soils, frost and dry conditions. Pruning in early Spring will encourage bushiness and flowers. Best feed regularly with a slow release fertiliser.
