Pyrus calleryana 'Winter Glow'

The only evergreen ornamental pear currently on the market, making it a highly sought after specimen tree. • Spring blossoms on semi bare branches • Ideal for screening or as a shade tree • Green glossy leaves with a silvered backing Everscreen Pears will only retain leaves in warmer climates. Cool climate areas such as rural Victoria are likely to see leaf drop in the winter but usually for only a period of up to 5 weeks. Escallonia Iveyi

Escallonia Iveyi is a quick growing, evergreen plant with fragrant white flowers in summer. Ideal for hedges, borders or screening. It is particulary hardy and will cope with coastal conditions as well as a hot, dry location, but does not cope with humidity. Frost hardy and drought tolerant once established.  Plant 70cm apart for hedges and borders. 6" pot size, approximately 15-25cm in height.

Nephrolepis exaltata

Fluffy Ruffles is a compact fern with a bushy growth habit and rumpled leaves. Ideal for hanging baskets, indoor containers, patios and verandahs. It prefers a protected spot inside with filtered light and a moist, shaded position outdoors. Mature growth" 30cm high x 60cm wide.

Polygala myrtifolia x dalmaisiana

Polygala Dazzler is a shrub that originates from South Africa and has attractive, almost year round, purple pea-like flowers on light green foliage. It makes a great flowering hedge. Polygala Dazzler prefers a well-drained position, but tolerates poor soils, frost and dry conditions. Pruning in early Spring will encourage bushiness and flowers. Best feed regularly with a slow release fertiliser. 10" pot size.

Malus purpurea

The Purple Crab Apple makes a handsome small tree, quite round topped in maturity. With beautiful flowers which are a deep, red-purple colour creating an effect that looks almost unbelievably rich. A great specimen tree, in Autumn the Purple Crab Apple has dark purple fruit and leaves which turn shades of yellow and red. 13" pot size.
