Before rich dark green foliage forms in summer the whole tree blossoms simultaneously in early Spring. In Autumn, the whole tree turns red in unison, rather than in patches.
Beautiful in a home garden or as a street tree.
This particular tree is also synonymous with the Chanticleer variety.
Grows in a symmetrical tear drop shape.
