Description

Quercus robur

English Oaks are famous for being solid and strong. The trunk and secondary branches are very solid and are covered in thick blackish-grey bark which makes it quite a sight. The autumn foliage is a rich, dark brown. As the foliage is smaller than other deciduous trees, fallen leaves are not particularly difficult to eliminate and will not clog drains. 10"/25cm pot

Stachys byzantina (syn. lanata)

Irresistibly soft, furry silver foliage, the 'Lambs Ear' is a must have in every Cottage garden. • Tall purple flowers • Looks great in pots, rockeries, along pathways and mass planted • Tolerates dry soils  6"/14cm pot size.

Malus purpurea

The Purple Crab Apple makes a handsome small tree, quite round topped in maturity. With beautiful flowers which are a deep, red-purple colour creating an effect that looks almost unbelievably rich. A great specimen tree, in Autumn the Purple Crab Apple has dark purple fruit and leaves which turn shades of yellow and red. 13" pot size.

Melaleuca nesophila

A compact and ornamental form of Melaleuca, Robin Red-Breast Bush is loved for its fine foliage and vibrant pink to mauve pom-pom flowers that attract birds and pollinators. This hardy Australian native is ideal for native garden beds, borders, or low screening.
  • Foliage: Soft, dense green foliage with a compact habit
  • Height & Width: Grows approx. 1–1.5m high x 1–1.2m wide
  • Position: Full sun to part shade
10" / 25 cm pot
Betula pendula 'Dalecarlica' The Cut-Leaf Birch is a very graceful tree with distinctive feathery foliage and fine white bark. It is slender and graceful enough to be a part of a small garden without appearing too dominant, and is also effective in larger areas planted alone or in groups. A moderate growing and medium sized tree, ideal for either a small garden setup or even a larger forest-like vista, this tree will grow well in most soils in a sunny to part shade position. A beautiful specimen tree not to be looked over! 10"/25cm pot size

Brassica oleracea

Cauliflower Paleface produces excellent heads of snow white cauliflower. The color deepens when it is cooked. Add color to your salads and gourmet dishes. Plant in a full sun to part shade position with well drained soil. Protect from high winds and frosts. 4"/10cm pot
