| Description | Banksia integrifolia
Banksia integrifolia or ‘Coastal Banksia’ is a hardy native found down the Eastern coastline of Australia. Often seen in windswept and sculptural shapes along beach fronts, when placed in a less hostile environment, they can become quite beautiful, bushy specimen plants. They grow anywhere between 4m - 10m and 1m - 5m wide, depending on their environment. During autumn and winter their yellow flowers form into large cones, rich with nectar. These stunning flowers attract lots of bird life, particularly cockatoos and honey-eaters. Coastal Banksia is a slow grower and can handle a wide range of soil types.

Jade Succulent is an extremely common plant in Australian gardens and has been for some time. Not only is it easy to grow, you'll find it's hardy in most conditions, and really only struggles when over-watered. Preferring a loose draining soil, the Jade Succulent is one of the more resilient succulents when it comes to things like clayey soil. Candy Pink is a medium shrub that is incredibly adaptable. Its large flower spikes are a lovely dark pink colour and are borne in flushes virtually all year round after a flush of new growth happens.
Candy Pink requires low maintenance and is suitable for coastal gardens. It is drought resistant. Likes a position of full sunlight to light shade.

A classic woody native Australian shrub, Banksias are great for a low maintenance garden and create interest with their recognizable flower cones. Silver Banksias will grow to the size of a large shrub and and good for screening. They're also great for coastal areas, as they're naturally found by the sea and tolerate sand and salt.

BoxOz Lonicera is the best plant with which to create your perfect hedge or border as it grows quickly and once your hedge has developed its easy to maintain with only a few trimmings a year. New shoots are soft and easy to cut and trimming is an effortless relaxing experience.
Some traditional hedging plants grow only an inch or two a year. BoxOz Lonicera will produce a calf high border in under twelve months, a knee high hedge in around 18 months, and a waist high hedge in 30 months. Almost any soil is suitable, as long as it is not too swampy. Fertilise your BoxOz Lonicera occasionally with a complete fertiliser, and water as required. |
