Sargent’s Crab Apple is a dense, horizontally-branched, deciduous, shrub or small tree with masses of  fragrant, white flowers and pea-sized red fruits not usually used in cooking. Best grown in medium moisture, well-drained, acidic loams in full sun. Adapts to a wide range of soils.
