Description

Lavandula angustifolia

Traditionally English Lavender was grown for its heavenly fragrance, used in oils and potpourri. • Small, slender blue-ish purple flowers on tall stems above the foliage • Grown in pots, as a hedge or in the cottage garden to attract bees and butterflies Tolerates drought and dry conditions, preferring well drained soils 6"/14cm pot
Sedum 'Silver Fairy Cushion' stonecrop A fast growing, mat forming coloured succulent with compact tiny silver and purple succulent rosettes clinching the ground. Stars of bright yellow flowers cover the tops of this plant late in summer. It’s one of the hardiest, low maintenance and easy to grow succulents. A perfect answer for filling small spaces while adding texture and colour to your garden area. The sprawling nature of its stems makes it ideal for growing in rockery pockets, wall crevices, between boulders as an ornamental in gravel gardens or for dry garden landscaping. It can be planted in a container either on its own or mixed with other succulents.Betula pendula 'Dalecarlica' The Cut-Leaf Birch is a very graceful tree with distinctive feathery foliage and fine white bark. It is slender and graceful enough to be a part of a small garden without appearing too dominant, and is also effective in larger areas planted alone or in groups. A moderate growing and medium sized tree, ideal for either a small garden setup or even a larger forest-like vista, this tree will grow well in most soils in a sunny to part shade position. A beautiful specimen tree not to be looked over! 10"/25cm pot size

Rosa banksiae

The Banksia Rose is a tough evergreen climbing rose with soft ruffled yellow flowers which appear in Spring. Like Iceberg Roses, it's prized as a disease resistant and hardy rose. It works well as a groundcover rose or a climber when given a support such as a trellis. The Banksia rose is an incredibly useful and versatile climber or groundcover as it is low maintenance, thornless and tolerates full sun and part shade. 6"/14cm pot size.

Quercus robur

English Oaks are famous for being solid and strong. The trunk and secondary branches are very solid and are covered in thick blackish-grey bark which makes it quite a sight. The autumn foliage is a rich, dark brown. As the foliage is smaller than other deciduous trees, fallen leaves are not particularly difficult to eliminate and will not clog drains. 10"/25cm pot

Cotinus Coggygria, Smoketree

Purple Smoke Bush is a gem in the garden thanks to it's unique blend of colours that change throughout the seasons. A large deciduous shrub or small tree, its beautiful eye-catching Spring foliage is green overlaid with purple. Summer brings deep purple foliage that then turns deep orange and bronze in a burst of glory for an Autumn show. Purple Smokebush gets its name from the clouds of smoke-like purple and pink "flowers" it produces in early Summer. These are very beautiful themselves, and are prized along with the foliage by florists. Grows best in full sun to partial shade and it is tolerant of drought and most soils, making it a great addition to many gardens. 10" pot size.
