Its beautiful creamy white flowers appear before the leaves from early July to mid-August and have a delightful fragrance. Yulan Magnolia likes a position of full sun or partial shade. Thrives when placed deep, rich well drained soil and a location sheltered from wind. For best results prune after flowering.
