Description

Phoenix roebelenii 'Pygmy Date Palm'

Date Palms feature an interesting, classic palm trunk that forms and grows larger as it matures. They have a crown of elegant dark green lacy fronds cascading from the top of this. A mature Date Palm will reach 2-3 meters tall. Old, dead fronds are best pruned off to expose the trunk as the tree ages and to keep it neat. The Date Palm is another good plant for creating a tropical feel in the garden which does well down South.

Rosa Hybrid tea

Las Vegas Rose is a bold orange blend with copper yellow reverse and large double blooms. Medium fragrance. Repeat flowering. Available online ONLY - Not in store.

Leptospermum petersonii

The Lemon Scented Tea Tree is a beautiful Australian native tree with a shrubby habit. Its new foliage is copper/bronze colour. Many small white flowers that decorate the tree in early summer and the leaves have a beautiful citrus scent. Lemon Scented Tea Trees are not only bird attracting but ideal for tough conditions such as drought or poor soil. A good screening plant. 10"/25cm pot size.
ContentRoses are easily one of the most popular and widely cultivated groups of flowering plants. Numerous different cultivars have been produced over the last two centuries although roses have been grown for millennia before their popularity bloomed. Renown for their flowers and beauty they are also loved for other reasons such as their fruit, the rose hip which can be made into an old fashioned jam or for garden uses such as ground covers and hedging.
