| Description | Lomandra confertifolia
Echidna Grass or Mat Rush is a common native grass with attractive green foliage that is rather hardy.
It produces insignificant green flowers, which are tucked among the foliage in Summer. This is a beneficial plant that requires little maintenance, great for borders. It grows well in full sun to part shade. Drought, frost and salt-tolerant when established, ideal for coastal planting.
