| Description | Buxus microphyllaKorean Box is a fantastic compact shrub with long but finer leaves than most buxus. It's foliage is a bright green long oval shape with gloss. It is one of the lowest growing buxus and so is ideal for box hedging, however it can tend to turn yellow in full sun, so it will prefer a part shade/filtered light position. Korean box is one of the slower growing varieties and is great in pots or as topiary's. This plant has a moderate growth rate that grows to approximately 50-60cm in height. Plant every 20cm - 5 per meter for an optimum hedge. | Rhodohypoxis Baurii "White"Rhodohypoxis in their natural habitat they are often found on open grassy slopes in areas of high altitude. They produce vivid green leaves that are long and slightly hairy. This plant flowers from late spring until autumn and comes in a range of beautiful colours from pure white to a selection of pinks and into the dark reds. This plant is fairly adaptable to low temperatures down to -5°C and will grow in all but the most tropical or hot parts of Australia. They are great for rockery planting. | Escallonia IveyiEscallonia Iveyi is a quick growing, evergreen plant with fragrant white flowers in summer. Ideal for hedges, borders or screening. It is particulary hardy and will cope with coastal conditions as well as a hot, dry location, but does not cope with humidity. Frost hardy and drought tolerant once established. Plant 70cm apart for hedges and borders. 6" pot size, approximately 15-25cm in height. | Polygala myrtifolia x dalmaisianaPolygala Dazzler is a shrub that originates from South Africa and has attractive, almost year round, purple pea-like flowers on light green foliage. It makes a great flowering hedge. Polygala Dazzler prefers a well-drained position, but tolerates poor soils, frost and dry conditions. Pruning in early Spring will encourage bushiness and flowers.
