| Description | Cedrela sinensis (syn. Toona sinensis)
Also known as the Chinese Toon Tree, this fabulous feature tree is fast and narrow growing, making it perfect for tight spaces.
• Bright pink new growth in the spring, making it stand out from everything else
• Leaves gradually fade from pink to cream and finally to green
• Grows best in moist, well-drained soil in full sun to part shade | Pittosporum tenuifolium 'Green Pillar'
Pittosporum Green Pillar is a hardy and fast growing bushy variety of Pittosporum ideal for hedging and screening. It has small brown flowers which have a distinct honey scent and are produced in spring.
Handles a wide range of conditions. Will grow in full sun to part shade. | Hydrangea macrophylla 'Saturn'
Saturn hydrangea is a ‘mop head’ form with bi-color umbels. It is part of the ‘Star Line’ selection form Europe. Each sepal has a deep crimson centre with a thick white margin. Like most of the mop heads the color can be changed by creating an acidic soil. Saturn like most Hydrangeas are tolerant of most frosts and coastal conditions. They will grow in full sun but need to be kept well watered and prefer part shade to filtered sun. Plants can be dead headed when finished flowering but if in heavy frost areas it is best to leave the flowers on until late winter. It likes a good feed with Osmocote in spring. If the bush requires a prune, remove the oldest stems from the base and allow the new young ones to grow away. Saturn grows to around 1m high and produces masses of flowers in mid summer.
6'' pot | Acacia melanoxylon
Acacia 'Blackwood' is an iconic Australian tree famous for its timber, which has been extensively used for quality specialist furniture since European settlement.
Growing into a large shade tree, the Blackwood's dense foliage makes it an ideal choice for a screen or windbreak with its pale yellow cream flowers blooming in winter and spring. It is cold and frost tolerant with low flammability and high tolerance to poor soils and drought. Plant with Acacia Lightwood, which flowers in summer, for year-round interest.
