Everscreen Pears will only retain leaves in warmer climates. Cool climate areas such as rural Victoria are likely to see leaf drop in the winter but usually for only a period of up to 5 weeks. In cool climates it the Everscreen will get an autumnal colouring prior to leaf drop.

An attractive, some say fast growing deciduous tree with an upright growth habit and open canopy. The foliage is deep green and narrow in summer and as autumn approaches, turns a rich claret colour, hence the name. Greenback® Magnolias are a Magnolia with a difference. Unlike its cousins, this large growing specimen does not have the velvety brown underside on its leaves and instead sports a soft green, hence the name 'Greenback'
Magnolia Greenback®, being one of the largest in the family, make wonderful dense hedging and screening or large shade and feature trees. They tolerate a wide range of conditions including heat, poor soils and some mild coastal conditions. During the warmer months the occasional large, white fragrant Magnolia flower will make an appearance on the tips of the branches.
