Description

Buxus sempervirens suffruticosa

A glossy green, rounded leaf box hedging plant • Used for low to medium hedging and topiary • Planted in the garden, along borders, pathways and in pots • Tolerates shady positions

Lilium longiflorum

Other common names include: November Lily, Easter Lily, Christmas Lily. A warmer climate lover, perennial plant that produces the most wonderful fragrant, waxy white trumpet shaped flowers in early summer. Fast growth habit, mature growth: 1m tall x 20cm wide 8''/20cm pot

Agave attenuata

Agave are one of the easiest plants to establish and maintain. They grow in full sun to shade in most soil types. Agave are best grown in reasonably well drained soils and love to be watered regularly, once a week to once a fortnight, but will thrive in periods of dryness.

Agapanthus praecox minimus

Dwarf Agapanthus are smaller and more compact, great for narrow borders and gardens with less space. • Fine, strap-like lime green foliage • White umbel flowers appear on tall stems above the foliage Extremely hardy, tolerating poor soils and drought 6"/14cm pot size.

Laurus nobilis 'Bay Tree'

Native to the Mediterranean, the bay tree is well known for its culinary use, often added to soups and stews. It is an upright, hardy evergreen tree with deep green, aromatic foliage. Leaves are glossy and oval in shape and hang from red-brown branches. In spring, yellow buds appear, opening to clusters of fluffy yellow flowers, adding a lovely contrast amongst the foliage. Tough, beautiful and useful, this tree lends itself well to hedging and is also an excellent choice for topiary.

Rose 'Our Rosy Carpet'

Very hardy rose with masses of hot pink flowers, great as a ground cover. Free flowering (flowers almost all year). Approximately 2ft in height. Available online ONLY - Not in store.
ContentIf your looking for a small hedging plant then this is the one for you. Dutch Box is a dwarf box that grows with dense, glossy green foliage and works well in shaded areas. Dutch Box also likes part shade in moist, well-drained soil, but will tolerate a wide range of soils and conditions. It should be clipped to maintain a formal shape. Slight yellow discolouration of the leaves on Dutch box may occur during cooler months, but don't worry, this is normal! This is remedied by applying with Dolomite Lime, and a slow release fertilizer a month later. Or you can just leave your Dutch Box alone and it will come back lovely and green and spring. Laurus nobilis 'Bay Tree'

Can be made into a standard shape and its leaf is widely used as a culinary herb. It's a great tree that can be used in small or large gardens, responds well to pruning. It is an extremely adaptable plant that is coastal tolerant, prefers a sunny position in a well drained fertile soil.
Roses are easily one of the most popular and widely cultivated groups of flowering plants. Numerous different cultivars have been produced over the last two centuries, although roses have been grown for millennia before their popularity bloomed. Renowned for their flowers and beauty, they are also loved for other reasons such as their fruit. The rose hip can be made into an old fashioned jam. Roses range in size and variety from your standard and bush roses to climbers and weeping varieties. Amongst all their beautiful colours, varieties and fragrances there is bound to be the perfect rose out there for your garden.
