Dogbane is a perennial herb from the mint family, which grows to about 15cm high, 30cm when in flower. When crushed, leaves have a very strong aroma, however dogs and cats are said to be able to smell the aroma from intact leaves and be repelled from the plant. This herb is also know as "scaredy cat plant". This plant prefers full sun to part shade, but may need more shade in very hot areas. If there is too much shade the plant becomes "leggy" with less foliage. It's frost tender so it needs a warm protected position to protect it from frost and hot sun, it's not suited to open conditions. Water young plants regularly, and once established older plants will tolerate short dry periods. It flowers in spring and summer. The Flowering Ash is a large deciduous tree that can grow up to 10m tall and 7m wide. These trees are well known for their showy creamy white, fragrant flowers produced abundantly in Spring.
Flowering Ash is a very hardy tree that has a dense rounded growth habit. It grows best in full sun in well drained soil, but will adapt well to any situation. For an avenue we recommend planting these trees 7m apart or for a screen 3m apart.

Devon Skies is a special ground cover that creates a magical carpet of little blue flowers in Spring-Summer.
While its foliage has a grass-like look, and it is often known as Blue-eye Grass, it is actually a bulb closely related to the Iris. Devon Skies grows well in pots, and is also is perfect for rockeries.
This plant enjoys being in full sun to part shade, and once established is both drought and frost hardy.
