| Description | Rosa Hybrid Tea
Peace Rose is bushy and vigorous in growth, and the blooms are flushed with pink and fragrant. Available as a climber, 2ft standard, 3ft standard and bush rose. This rose will change colour and sometimes fade, it will produce a mixture of different colours throughout the season.
Available online ONLY - Not in-store.
8" pot size, approximately 3ft in height. | Morus alba pendula
Weeping Mulberry Trees are very beautiful small to medium weeping trees with large heart shaped leaves. The foliage is a luscious glossy green and turns a beautiful golden colour in Autumn, hanging down on long gracefull weeping branches. The Weeping Mulberry Tree has the exclusive role of feeding fussy silkworms, making it a bit fancy. It's a long lived tree that is relatively hardy.
13" pot size, approximately 6ft in height. | Bambusa ventricosa (Buddha's Belly) Bamboo
Buddha’s Belly Bamboo is a great bamboo variety for gardens. With shiny, smooth green bamboo stalks that feature bulbous "bellies" at intervals, it stays at a manageable height and is highly ornamental. It's named for these bulges, not it's height, and will only grow to 6 meters in ideal conditions.
This bamboo is great as a screen or hedge. It's important to give Buddhas Belly a good amount of space to grow and to not plant it to close to any fences or buildings, at least 1m away. This bamboo is not to be confused with the 'Giant Buddha's Belly' (B. Vulgaris cv. Wamin).
8" pot size. | Lavandula angustifolia
Munstead Lavender is a dwarf-rounded bush with aromatic grey-green foliage. It produces dense spikes of aromatic beautiful tiny purple to violet flowers during summer. These are lighter in colour than Hidcote Lavender, and the plant grows slightly larger.
8" pot size | Callistemon citrinus 'Kings Park Special'
Callistemon Kings Park Special features narrow green leaves and deep red bottle-brush flowers that are grouped together in bunches, making a spectacular display in spring and autumn. Kings Park Special is one of the larger Callistemons, so it's great for a tall screen or feature tree. Like all callistemons, it's hardy and bird attracting. | Lavandula angustifolia
Traditionally English Lavender was grown for its heavenly fragrance, used in oils and potpourri.
• Small, slender blue-ish purple flowers on tall stems above the foliage
• Grown in pots, as a hedge or in the cottage garden to attract bees and butterflies
• Tolerates drought and dry conditions, preferring well drained soils
6"/14cm pot |
| Content | Roses are easily one of the most popular and widely cultivated groups of flowering plants. Numerous different cultivars have been produced over the last two centuries although roses have been grown for millennia before their popularity bloomed. Renown for their flowers and beauty they are also loved for other reasons such as their fruit, the rose hip which can be made into an old fashioned jam or for garden uses such as ground covers and hedging.
Roses range in size and variety from your standard and bush roses right up there with your climbers and weeping varieties, amongst all their beautiful colour, variety and hardy nature there is bound to be the perfect rose out there for your garden.
