Description

Cedrus deodara

This lovely, unusual Standard is ideal as a feature plant while also looking fabulous in a pot. This evergreen has a natural weeping form, with masses of fine, soft, needle-like, blue-grey foliage, and small male and female seeds in cones, making it an intersting sight. Preferring a well drained soil, it can withstand frost and some drought once it has established.

13" pot size, ranging between 4ft-6ft tall

Magnolia grandiflora  'MGTIG' icon Greenback®

Greenback® Magnolias are a Magnolia with a difference. Unlike its cousins, this large growing specimen does not have the velvety brown underside on its leaves and instead sports a soft green, hence the name 'Greenback'

Magnolia Greenback®, being one of the largest in the family, make wonderful dense hedging and screening or large shade and feature trees. They tolerate a wide range of conditions including heat, poor soils and some mild coastal conditions. During the warmer months the occasional large, white fragrant Magnolia flower will make an appearance on the tips of the branches.   See our Magnolia & Michelia - Evergreen Factsheet here for more about the different Magnolia Michelia varieties!
