| Description | Banksia integrifoliaBanksia integrifolia or ‘Coastal Banksia’ is a hardy native found down the Eastern coastline of Australia. Often seen in windswept and sculptural shapes along beach fronts, when placed in a less hostile environment, they can become quite beautiful, bushy specimen plants. They grow anywhere between 4m - 10m and 1m - 5m wide, depending on their environment. During autumn and winter their yellow flowers form into large cones, rich with nectar. These stunning flowers attract lots of bird life, particularly cockatoos and honey-eaters. Coastal Banksia is a slow grower and can handle a wide range of soil types. 10" pot size. | Coprosma repensFireburst is a hardy shrub with stunning variegated foliage. The colour changes from cream and pink tones during Summer, to an explosion of firey red foliage during Autumn and Winter. It has a low water requirement once established. It will tolerate coastal conditions. Prune to promote bushiness and fertilise annually with a long-term slow-release fertiliser. | Escallonia IveyiEscallonia Iveyi is a quick growing, evergreen plant with fragrant white flowers in summer. Ideal for hedges, borders or screening. It is particulary hardy and will cope with coastal conditions as well as a hot, dry location, but does not cope with humidity. Frost hardy and drought tolerant once established. Plant 70cm apart for hedges and borders. 6" pot size, approximately 15-25cm in height. | ||||||||||||||||||||||
