Description

Phoenix roebelenii 'Pygmy Date Palm'

Date Palms feature an interesting, classic palm trunk that forms and grows larger as it matures. They have a crown of elegant dark green lacy fronds cascading from the top of this. A mature Date Palm will reach 2-3 meters tall. Old, dead fronds are best pruned off to expose the trunk as the tree ages and to keep it neat. The Date Palm is another good plant for creating a tropical feel in the garden which does well down South.

Buxus sempervirens suffruticosa

If you're looking for a small hedging plant then this is the one for you. Dutch Box is a dwarf box that grows with dense, glossy green foliage and works well in shaded areas. Dutch Box likes full sun to part shade in moist, well-drained soil, but will tolerate a wide range of soils and conditions. It should be clipped to maintain a formal shape. This slow-growing plant grows to approximately 50-60cm in height. It is frost-hardy. Plant 5 per meter for the optimum hedge. Slight discolouration of yellow may occur during cooler months, this is normal! 20''/50cm pot - shaped into a sphere/dome
