Dodonaea ‘Purple Hop Bush’

Dodonaea viscosa purpurea 

The Hop Bush is a shrub with attractive leathery, coppery-purple foliage. Small ornamental, reddish or purple seeds are produced in Summer.

It works well as a windbreak or screening plant, especially for exposed, windy sites. Good for soil erosion control and its hardy and drought tolerant.
