| Description | Acmena smithiiNative Australian hedging & screening plant. Hardy evergreen with glossy leaves, which are red when young and then turn a dark green. While Neighbours-Be-Gone is our most outstanding Lilly Pilly variety for all purposes, we do recommend Lilly Pilly Acmena Smithii Select when you have particularly poor conditions. It is slower growing but more tolerant of very poor soil. | Plectranthus Argentatus 'Silver Plectranthus'It is a vigorous and spreading, flowering shrub with a rounded habit. Its leaves are an attractive silvery, plush-velvet. Small mauve to white flowers is presented above the foliage on sage-like spires in Autumn. It prefers well-drained soil in partial shade but will grow in full sun and quite tolerant to drought and tolerant of light frosts. A good choice for Mediterranean style gardens, mixed borders, and semi-tropical gardens where the silvery-grey tones can be used to great effect. Contrasts well with dark green and burgundy foliaged plants. Tip prune regularly and cut back hard every 2 years. 6" pot size. | |
