Description

Gaura lindheimeri "Butterfly Bush"

Butterfly Bush is a bushy, hardy perennial shrub with long graceful stems that bloom with pale pink flowers in spring-summer. These stems grow up to 1m long, but can be clipped back shorter, and sway gracefully in the breeze. The name of a popular variety, Whirling Butterflies, perfectly describes the way the plant resembles a cloud of butterflies when swaying in the breeze. 6" pot size.

Liriodendron tulipifera

The Tulip Tree is a beautiful tall tree with large leaves that have a lovely shape and smooth soft texture. A fast growing deciduous hardwood tree. Tulip trees have striking yellow-green orange flecked coloured flowers. They are solitary flowers that sit in the extreme-most upper branches. The flowers resemble tulips, hence the name. For an avenue we recommend planting these trees 7m apart or for a screen 3m apart.

Magnolia sargentiana ‘Lennei’ x M. ‘Mark Jury’

Iolanthe Magnolia is a lovely hybrid from New Zealand with a lovely upright growth habit. It is a deciduous specimen, however it has glossy green leaves and large fragrant pale purple and pale pink flowers. Can mature to 5-10m tall.

Eucalyptus caesia

The Silver Princess is one of the beauty queens of the eucalyptus family and makes a stunning small ornamental tree. The young branches are red and glossy with older growth being covered in a pretty silver-white powder. The flowers are a stunning and large display of showy pink to red with yellow at the tips. The 'Silver Princess' will not grow taller than about 8 m before the branches and foliage start to weep. The perfect addition to any garden with interesting features all year round, the Silver Princess thrives in full sun with well-drained soil. This is a wonderful specimen tree that stays relatively small.
