| Description | Quercus roburEnglish Oaks are famous for being solid and strong. The trunk and secondary branches are very solid and are covered in thick blackish-grey bark which makes it quite a sight. The autumn foliage is a rich, dark brown. As the foliage is smaller than other deciduous trees, fallen leaves are not particularly difficult to eliminate and will not clog drains. 10"/25cm pot | Banksia integrifoliaBanksia integrifolia or ‘Coastal Banksia’ is a hardy native found down the Eastern coastline of Australia. Often seen in windswept and sculptural shapes along beach fronts, when placed in a less hostile environment, they can become quite beautiful, bushy specimen plants. They grow anywhere between 4m - 10m and 1m - 5m wide, depending on their environment. During autumn and winter their yellow flowers form into large cones, rich with nectar. These stunning flowers attract lots of bird life, particularly cockatoos and honey-eaters. Coastal Banksia is a slow grower and can handle a wide range of soil types. 10" pot size. | Brachychiton acerifoliusThe Illawarra Flame Tree is known for its stunning display of bright red flowers that cover the whole bare tree in late Spring. While it's an Aussie native, it is now grown all over the world for its beauty. The Illawarra Flame Tree is only fully deciduous in the northern parts of Australia, where it drops its leaves in the dry season. Plant Flame Trees with Jacarandas for a colour explosion. | ||||||||||||||||||||
