| Description | Lagerstroemia indica x fauriei 'Hopi'This small, multi-stemmed, deciduous tree puts on a spectacular display of soft pink flowers during summer and early autumn then, once the flowers are done with showing off, the foliage turns brilliant yellow, red, or orange. It's a crowd favourite for a small feature trees with ever changing colours! 'Hopi' has smooth grey bark and is a mildew resistant variety. Once established, is quite drought tolerant. The foliage is a mid to light green and is covered with masses of scented white flowers through Spring and Summer. This attractive shrub will grow to approx. 1.5 - 2m, but is happy to be clipped to suit. As a result it can be also used as a hedge or screen.
